Back Set Back [Whining and Complaining]
It's a nightmare come true this morning: I had work lined up but had to cancel it due to my back acting up.
It started last night. I was just sitting here at the computer - sometimes I think my butt could be surgically attached to this chair and I might not notice- and for no good reason, it started to throb, then ache, then give me the stabbing pain every time I shifted my weight a quarter of an inch.
It was so bad that I had to ask The Hub to pack two mugs that were going out via ebay, because I couldn't stand up long enough to manuever the box, mugs and packing material.....
I went to bed, firmly telling myself that by morning the problem would be cleared up, but it wasn't. It was worse. I know I've been ignoring warning signs...tingling in both feet and my left foot starting to turn in. It's like it drifts, and I have to make a concious effort to set it right even as I am walking on it.
I think Dr. Backcracker could fix this. I know I should get over there before it gets worse....but I was just starting to make some headway on my bills. I guess life is just like this. Everybody has these problems, and it could be so much worse. I mean, I HAVE choices about what to do. Some people are so limited that they only have one road in front of them and they have to take it and walk it as best they can.
Still, it just makes me question Everything. AATH is FINALLY starting to get going! I have work! I have customers! All that hard work, blood, sweat, and earwax back during the summer and fall is finally starting to pay off. I can't quit now! I just CAN'T.
Okay. Thanks for listening. Got to calm down now, use my head for something besides a hat, and make a plan.
This blog makes a great vent!!
I'm sorry to here your back is acting up again. I hope your feeling better soon.
