1. Screaming into the phone over the noise of the cleaning crew vacuuming.
2. No place to park when coming in at 2:30
3. Weird radio programs on drive home from 11:00 to midnight
4. Deer, fox, porcupines, cows, etc in road late at night
5. The Caffeine Buzz Balance – the fine art of drinking enough tea or soda to stay awake for the drive home but not enough to make it impossible to go to bed at 1:00am
6. Looks on faces of neighbors when I stagger out to get the newspaper at 9:30am in my robe and fuzzy slippers
7. Listening to my co-worker complain that her head-set has static, her computer is slow, nobody else does any work, that she hates certain people’s answering machines….
8. O.K. Listening to my co-worker in general
9. No boss – lets face it, nobody is exactly setting the land speed record for getting stuff done at this point, but it’s mostly because we aren’t sure what’s important.
10. Male cleaners strolling into the ladies room after 9:00 – they assume nobody is in there. I think.
