The Sauerkraut Blues [Office Space]
Well, I did finally get to start priming the trim today. Of course, I only had the morning to work on it, and then I had to go to work. And it was raining, and people in Maryland can't drive whenever ANYTHING is falling from the sky so I had to leave early.
So I didn't have time to make myself anything specific for "lunch" ( aka my dinner break here on the swing shift) But, I was in good shape. I had made some really excellent baked sliced potatoes last night, along with pork chops and sauerkraut and a nice salad. The Hub ate two pork chops so there weren't any left, but those potatoes and the salad would make a perfect light dinner....
so I threw open the fridge door and grabbed two containers of left overs. Guess what I had when I got to work?
Yep. Salad....and sauerkraut. Umm-hmm. Well, okay, I told myself, trying to psych myself up to just eat it and not complain. It's good food. There's nothing wrong with it. It's vegetarian. It's wholesome.
It's too much. Even I can't eat a whole dish of sauerkraut as a meal, even if I do like it as a side dish.
I'm going to Chipolte to get a taco!(Starving children everywhere - please forgive me. I'd send you the sauerkraut if I could. Hell, I'd even send you a taco.)
