Am I surprised the FBI framed four men for a murder they didn't commit? No, but I am surprised they got caught...and even more surprised a judge ruled against a law enforcement agency in our current climate where our leadership has nothing to offer but "fear itself".

I'll be even less surprised when the entire Big Dig collapses in Boston on account of all the bribery, graft, money laundering, and just plain incompetance that went on up there....

...because it's not like the FBI accomplished anything for "the greater good" up there. When I left they were still digging up bodies of people who had vanished without a trace, as the consciences of elderly men staring down eternity collapsed under the weight of all their sins. If the Cosa Nostra was weakened any it was only to the advantage of the Russian Mob, The Chinese Mob, and the Greek Mob. The Mob, was, in fact, so bad up there that you couldn't just say "the mafia" you had to specify which one. (Except if you meant the Kennedys. Then you just said "the Kennedys").....and even as far out as Gardiner there was some poor soul found floating in the reservoir with cement shoes on and even I, as dour as any Yankee who never so much as smoked tobacco, knew that when the thrift shop on Central had the baby carriage out front the dude had "recreational substances" for sale.

People are crazy.
