I'm Dreaming of a Wet Christmas [Observations]
Man, is it ever going to stop raining?! I know, I know, "It always has before."
Today was a bad day for it, but The Hub's family came up to get a Christmas tree. I was able to take a break between jobs ( The L.'s and The Bathroom Lady) to have lunch with them at Harry's...then ship off my latest e-bay items to their new homes.
I was all nervous because I had an appointment to see a lady about some collectibles I was thinking of buying and trying to ebay. I mentioned my plans to Mary, the lady at the Shipping Station, who is always so pleasant and helpful.
"Is her name J.M?" she asked.
"Yeah, it is! Do you know her?"
"She works down the street. I just saw her today, & she mentioned she had someone coming to look at her stuff. Don't worry. She's really nice."
It just reminded me of how small a place the County really is: something to keep in mind if I do turn into "The Accidental Antique Dealer".
Now why can't I make those kinds of connections with AATH?
Making connections like those takes time. Keep at it.
Posted by: Geren at December 11, 2004 9:08 AMmaybe because God will send you just the right connections (whether for your benefit or theirs) at just the time when you need them?
Posted by: Donna at December 11, 2004 10:35 PMDonna's right. We don't always know why something happens, but rest assured...there are no coincidences! Hang in there.
