"Humans! Think They Own Everything!" * [Observations]
"Oh, no, not this moronic idiot again!" The Hub groaned.
He was talking about an ad for an upcomming show on the National Geographic channel "Most people wouldn't go into a dark cave full of bat poop...." etc. But the intrepid explorer (whatever his name is...oh, Bradey Barr) is not like most people. And then he gets squeezed and bitten by a python.
Okay. The Hub doesn't have much sympathy for this guy,and neither do I. Lets face it. There are not that many places....
where deadly pythons can go these days to get away from it all. Every where they go there all kinds of hassles: birds of prey, cats, mongooses (or is that mongeese?) air pollution, traffic, overcrowding. Come to think of it, these are some of the same problems I'm facing - though presumabley, deadly pythons don't have to worry about losing their health insurance.
And I feel sorry enough for the deadly python when he gets into some weird situation because he's confused, like winds up slithering up somebody's toilet in south Florida, or something. Then the guy who has to go get the snake is brave.
But, look, when the python is in a dark, smelly, bat infested cave, minding his own business, and some dude comes along, stomping, shining lights into crevices where no light should ever be shed - I think the python has a right to be a little PISSED OFF!
