On a roll... [Job-In-A-Box]
Things are looking up!
You know, when I very first started working, I used to draw these little "things" with strange looking antenae and feet and sketch their eyes looking heavenward. I used to leave them on people's desks in the office where I was working. Of course, the person would come along and wonder what the hell this thing was. They'd wander around the office asking about it, until they got to my desk where I'd tell them "See? Things are looking up!"
About 50% of the people were charmed, and would laugh and feel better....
the rest of them just thought I was out of my mind. But, I was only 18. What the hell. I don't do things like that now...but, I guess more's the pity.
Anyway my 2nd phone interview seemed to go pretty well. I guess I can tell the difference between a professional work environment and places like this when I think about it. Maybe if I think a place is too classy for me to work there that's where I should look!
Sounds good! There's no place out there that is too good for you!
