Last night when I was out shopping, I was looking for English chocolate to give to my boss as a Hanukka gift. She said that English chocolate is her favorite kind, since she's from the UK. I was looking for a nice Cadbury gift box, but couldn't find one. And then I noticed that Cadbury is now being made by Hershey anyway.

So I settled for another type of European chocolate that looked good. I read the box over carefully to make sure they were kosher, and got a card to go with it.

When I got to work....

the uber-boss was there working herself up into a fit about a year end report on traffic. It was not a great day, AND it was snowing. So no new traffic. Ugh.

Then my boss called....three times. And the last time she called she mentioned how she was finally 100% serious about going on the South Beach Diet, and NOTHING was going to get in her way. She wasn't coming in. I left the chocolate anyway.

Sigh.
