Okay, I made that up...but I really do think there should be a name for this day. This is the day that everybody goes back to work from however much time they had off. No holidays in sight, except for Martin Luther King Day and, maybe Super Bowl.

I wonder if everybody was in as bad a mood as my boss and the uber-boss. We wrote a contract over the weekend so I thought the uber-boss would be pleased. But she certainly didn't say so, and instead some sort of argument about toilets developed. I don't know what it was all about.....

but I had to run around checking to make sure that, yes, the unoccupied units of the building have toilets in them.

The boss got mad at me for erasing the phone messages after I wrote down all the names and numbers, called everybody back and set up an appointment with a potential buyer. It was one of those days when I felt like asking if I'd misunderstood my job. I thought I was supposed to do everything I could to help sell condos. Apparently, I'm supposed to run around and check on toilets.
