Well, I showed my first models today at work. It's amazing how much I remember about the units - but the main thing is that I try to sound enthusiastic about them. 'Cause this is one empty condo complex. I think things are going to start to look up for the place, especially since there are hardly any condos for sale in that area of Baltimore County.

But sales are slow all over. And here in Cow County, it's the only place in the state where home sales are down in comparison to our neighbor counties. Which is okay, since we don't have the water for the housing we have up here anyway.....

Still, these condos are going to appeal to somebody. Actually, two kinds of "somebody's": people who have a single family home and are "downsizing" and people who are paying outrageous rents and therefore figure they ought to go ahead and pay an outrageous mortgage. But these condos are HUGE! Every one has two bathrooms, and even the smallest one has more livable square footage than our house....than any house I've ever lived in. Granite countertops, fire places, formal dining rooms....who could ask for anything more? And, though at first you feel like it's a little weird how close the building is to the nearby office park that makes it incredibly quiet. After all, there are no neighboring condo buildings full of loud people on the weekends or in the evenings....no people to look at on opposite balconies.

Do I sound like a sales woman so far? Good - I guess.
