The Tail of The Dog [Dog Blog]
Winston has a vet appointment tomorrow. I'm really worried about him. He as a sore on his tail. Luckily ( I think) he can't reach it to lick it, so we've been putting Neosporin on it, but I don't see it clearing up as fast as it should be.
The good news is that it doesn't seem to bother him. Still the whole thing worries me. After all, he is 6...and that's like 12 for a mastiff. Well, maybe 10. The point is that large breeds age so much more quickly than small dogs do. That's one of the reasons I was willing to get a puppy when we decided on a gaint breed....and then we encountered Winston.
I hope it's nothing serious.
Should we send "get well soon" biscuits?

Posted by: Will at October 24, 2007 11:01 AMThis is not to cause undue fear. On the morning news today there was a report about Staph, humans and pets. Humans, dogs and cats are all susceptible to the staph infection, including the current outbreak. Please discuss with your vet.
