Yesterday, when we were at Petco, we met a mastiff puppy named Samson. He was only 10 weeks old and still easy to pick up. He was out being socialized, which, for mastiffs, mostly means wandering around the end of their leash looking confused.

But they're very affectionate dogs and this one was no exception. As soon as he realized he had encountered dog friendly people he was all about licking and wagging. So cute! Hard to believe Winston was ever that small.

Winston seems to be feeling a lot better - and you can bet we do too!
