"...for a bird of the air will carry your voice, or some winged creature tell the matter..." --Ecclesiastes 10:20

Who is this mysterious winged creature? Light hearted as the air, she laughes at world, the wise, and herself - but watch out if you tread on the humble or the meek. You may find This Winged Creature has told the matter...

I Could Have Lived Without Knowing.... [Dog Blog]

“Hi Buddy! How ya doin’ Buddy?” The Hub greeted the dog enthusiastically, last night.

Thump, thump, thump, said Winston, or at least, Winston’s tail. “You were a bad dog this afternoon. Did you tell Mommy what you did?”...

“He hasn’t learned to talk since you left for work this morning” I said, a little acerbically. I wouldn’t like my husband to call me “Mommy” if we had children together, let alone that we only have the dog.

“You were licking the pastrami!” he reminded Winston.

“Oh. Is that why you put what was left of it in one of those Tupperware containers?”

“Well, er…, since he was licking it, I guess I shouldn’t have just rinsed it off and put it back in the fridge. I guess I should just give it to him.” The Hub moved toward the refrigerator.

“No, I don’t think you’re gonna be able to do that.” I said.

“Why not?”

“Cause I came home and had a nice hot pastrami sandwich for dinner!”

“Oh.” A pregnant pause. “Well. Maybe he wasn’t really licking it. Maybe he was just sniffing it. You know, he just had his nose near it.”

“Uh-hunh”

The perfect ending to the perfect day. I can’t believe this is my life.

I think you should get Winston to eat something you can feed to your Hub later.
