The parakeet we found in the gutter - we've been calling him "Gutter Guest", which I suppose isn't very polite - looks a TON better. Buckbeak helped him groom his bedraggled feathers, and seems very open to him. I know parakeets are flock birds, and their normal behaviour is to try to get along, but some birds are much more aggressive than others and you just never know how they might react. So I'm really happy to see that.

I placed an ad. The County Times lets you place a "found" ad for free, and I called the Humane Society.

And, Birda, the robin has hatchlings now! So there's a whole lotta feathers goin' on!
