It's pretty depressing, being a Winged Creature, with all this talk about bird flu going on. Seeing pictures of guys in bio-suits picking up dead swans is both heart breaking and creepy. It's hard to sort out the news from the hype, but avian activities are being curtailed everywhere.

You can hardly be as free as a bird now.
