Those lusty pair-a-tweeters were at it again! This time during supper. I mean, I don't think I'm a prude or anything - but I have to admit to being a little surprised to look up in the middle of my meal and notice parakeet inimate relations. Maybe they were inspired by our candle light dinner.

Who knows?

Anyway, this is now what I know for sure, from first hand observation. Blondie/Buckbeak is indeed the male parakeet, and Dagwood / Dorothy is, for sure, the female. But I'm not changing their names again. After all, they're totally undeterred by whatever we call them.

This time they have a little cloth nest area in their cage all set up for them, so we'll see how that goes. I've also put in another calcium block. Stay tuned....their could be an egg in the next three weeks!
