Nobody is safe from crime these days - even birds that haven't even hatched yet! Of course, talk about an embarrassing moment - imagine how this guy must have felt when his "contraband" was discovered between his legs! Can you picture the customs officer? "Did you just lay these yourself sir? Or are they someone elses?" What would he have done if they hatched early? Jumped around a lot I guess. Good grief!

Seriously, though, this is a real crime. The birds in question really are endangered species, and new research has shown that they have complex social structures that people never imagined.

I wonder where he got the pantyhose. Maybe I don't want to know.
