I Hate It When That Happens [Bird Blog]


Tonight when I went to Petsmart, I realized that between dog food, dog treats, bird food and bird treats and "wild bird food" (though whether the songbirds are, in fact "wilder" than Kendi and the pair-a-tweeters is debatable) I'd spent more on the animals than I had on groceries. Granted, there are four animals in the household and only two people, but still....one of us is The Hub...and he can EAT. Even worse, I bought the K-bird peanuts at the grocery!

Sigh.

Sounds like our house, except we replace the pooch with a pair of demented cats (mmm... that was redundant, wasn't it?), and there aren't quite so many flying feathers inside the house. But, yeah, I can spend $75 at a clip just in wild bird food!
