"...for a bird of the air will carry your voice, or some winged creature tell the matter..." --Ecclesiastes 10:20

Who is this mysterious winged creature? Light hearted as the air, she laughes at world, the wise, and herself - but watch out if you tread on the humble or the meek. You may find This Winged Creature has told the matter...

"Hi! I'm Flighted!" [Bird Blog]

That darn K-Bird has really gotten used to flying around...and now I don't have the heart to trim her wings too much. She can even turn in the air, which is pretty fun to watch.

Now, though, I'm really glad I taught her the peek-a-bird game. The other day, she almost got lost in the house. I know that sounds kind of weird, considering that she is bright green and gold....

but really everything in my livingroom is green and gold.

Hmm. I guess I really like Senegal colors.

Anyway, the other day when I came back into the room after having been gone for a moment, I really could not find the bird. I looked all over the floor ( she's not supposed to be on the floor. But, what does she care?) Finally, it entered my mind to start the "peek a bird game".

"Where's Kendi? I can't find my bird! Where is my bird?!"

"Peek-a-bird!" I heard, behind me.

So I looked all over the floor behind me. "Where's Kendi? I can't find my bird!"

"PEEK-a-bird!" I heard again, more emphatically. THAT sounded like it was coming from above me.

When I looked up on the book cases there she was, sitting on top of the lights that The Hub installed.

I swear she was grinning.

Naughty bird. Since she's getting into all sorts of places, have you given any thought to "house training" her?

Someday I want to meet and interact with Kendi. I think birds are cool, intelligent and so much better than cats!
