The Hub and I have both had pretty bad allergies this season. Pollen was so bad that it made the news in many areas of the country - not much rain. So we've both been running around the house sneezing a lot.

On Saturday, the K-Bird started making a new noise.....

I couldn't figure out what it was. I certainly couldn't figure out whose voice she was trying to do. This sound was much harsher than any body's voice I know. It was a two sylable sound. "Rasp-RASP!" with a definite emphasis on the last syllable.

What the heck was she trying to say? She'd do it over and over. I listened closely. It sounded like..."Eh-ooooo"....

And then it dawned on me "Ach-choo!" The bird was sneezing.

Well, she wasn't really sneezing. She was imitating my sneeze. Birds do sneeze, they make like tiny "choo" sounds from time to time, if something is irritating their nares. But I guess I was sneezing with such gusto that she thought it was a sound that had meaning, or was at least interesting. The Hub didn't believe me 'til he heard it for himself.

This is not a normal household. But, at least it's interesting.
