We may have a fairly decent offer on the house - The Frankenstein Offer - having gone through a whole bunch of negotiation and brinkmanship, mostly carried on by our realtors, God bless them. I didn't get get too worked up about it, even though we "accepted" a version of the deal. To me, nothing is even close to being final until there's paperwork of some kind.

We're supposed to see the paperwork at 11:30 tomorrow morning, at which point, we'll all be on the same page and able to evaluate everything clearly. So many numbers and scenarios were zinging around realty offices and telephones, at one point, there was not a living soul involved in the deal who knew what the hell the "last thing we said" was. This is not alarming in real estate. In fact, I think it's pretty standard.
