Could It Be Over? [All Things Housing]
Here on the front lines of the housing market - the sales center for brand new condos - the worse the news reports get the better our market seems to be. Though this week was slow for new traffic, each month I've been working, there has been more and more new traffic. "New Traffic" is defined as folks who are visiting the sales center for the first time.
And not only has there been more traffic, it's been "better traffic". By that I mean a higher percentage of people who are serious about buying, not just researching or killing time. We've written two contracts this month and one model is almost sold out on one side of the building...
(the one with the better view). Among the serious buyers who may not be able to afford our condos, we connect them with other buyers who have property to sell. Good news for everybody.
It makes me think that maybe at least here in the Baltimore area the market may have reached bottom and be starting its recovery.
I hope somebody alerts the media. Maybe they'll catch on in about 6 months
